Full Job Description
Our tech client is looking for a Technical Writer for a fully remote 6-month contract.
The Technical Writer will be part of the SaaS Clound Security organization. The Technical Writer will work closely with many functions across SaaS, OCI, marketing, engineering, and field enablement to help document security control responses to industry wide requirements. This person must have knowledge of industry frameworks such as NIST, CIS, SOC, GDPR with the ability to write detailed documentation mapping the framework to controls.
The ideal candidate(s) will have a high-level information security knowledge and familiarity with security frameworks. Experience in audit and/or compliance will be very helpful. We are looking for individuals with the following skills:
Ability to interview cross IT teams.
Document responses in clear understandable language.
Understand security technical documentation.
Work through defined approval process.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience on tools such as Responsive, Qvidian, Markdown, GitBook, Confluence, JIRA and Notion
