DUTIES:

Responsible for the oversight of care on the nursing unit for all shifts. Manages nursing

employees and clinical issues to ensure effective, efficient operation of the nursing unit.

Manages the education program for the nursing department. In absence of the Director of

Nursing, the ADON is responsible for the overall direction and operations of the nursing department
