As
a Quality Assurance Inspector here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role
in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to program guidelines of
weatherization projects. You will be responsible for inspecting completed
projects and conducting thorough assessments to ensure quality standards are
met. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work
independently will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for
Honeywell's weatherization programs.
You will report directly to our Program Manager and you'll have the flexibility
to work from home.
In this role, you will impact the overall quality and effectiveness of
weatherization projects, ensuring that they meet program guidelines and provide
maximum energy efficiency and cost savings for our customers.
The annual base salary range for this position is $32.07 - $38.46. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct inspections of weatherization projects to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to program guidelines.
- Perform detailed assessments of completed projects, including reviewing documentation, conducting measurements, and verifying compliance with energy efficiency standards.
- Identify any deficiencies or areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with project teams to address any issues or concerns identified during inspections.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to weatherization and energy efficiency.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of weatherization techniques and energy efficiency standards.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
