Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Professional Development Coordinator reporting to the Senior Manager of Professional Development. This position will be responsible for providing analytical, logistical, and administrative support to the firm’s Professional Development Department by assisting in the overall planning, coordination and administration of the firm’s attorney development initiatives, policies, programs, and functions.
This position can reside in the following offices: Philadelphia, Washington DC, or New York, with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.
Responsibilities:
Provides primary support for program leads in the planning of firm professional development (PD) programs/academies, including coordination and program logistics, budget tracking, venue sourcing and liaising, roster management, and other general administrative and event support, including working with travel manager and travel vendor to coordinate and monitor travel arrangements.
Develops and continuously enhances expertise in: 1) the use and functionality of the firm’s learning management system in order to most effectively track and maintain training records, etc.; and 2) the firm’s event planning software to effectively manage and monitor registration and travel processes for professional development academies.
Edits and posts practice group training videos for inclusion in training library on intranet site.
Provides analytical and administrative support in the coordination and processing of CLE requests for firm-sponsored programs.
Coordinates and provides logistical support for practice group training efforts as needed, including but not limited to, development and maintenance of training resources, reporting and analyzing training metrics, and updating training materials.
Supports any and all other training and development, talent, or engagement initiatives as needed.
Experience/Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university.
Minimum of two years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a commitment to customer service and excellence.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Microsoft Project, as well as the ability to adapt to new software programs.
Must be flexible to work overtime when needed.
Willing to travel on occasion to support PD academies.

For positions in New York, NY, the salary range for this job posting is
$71,815.00 - $114,904.00.
For positions in Washington D.C., the salary range for this job posting is
$66,070.00 - $105,712.00.The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
