Description:

Production Worker / Packaging Operator

Salary: $15-17 depending on experience

Shift: Day and Night shift available

Job Type: Full-time

Production Worker / Packaging Operator Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting and operating machinery in multiple production departments
Operate in a productive manner using the established safety guidelines and procedures.
Move and wrap completed products.
Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day
Communicate any moisture or material problems to Shift Lead.
Maintain a clean workstation.
Other duties as assigned.

Production Worker / Packaging Operator Qualifications/Education:

Prior experience with industrial machinery and equipment is preferred
Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
Will require good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
Will need to pass the company forklift training.
Required to read and interpret scales.
Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of baler and various other simple maintenance problems.
Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.
