About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Management Director to lead the new Me2Me Payments Product Management and Development team, as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) Payments Group. This role will be reporting directly to the Head of CSBB Payments and will be responsible for the overall success of the Me2Me Job-to-be-done, including responsibility for New Account Funding use cases, the Inter-bank Transfers, and Mobile Deposit products. This leader will be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience, setting the business strategy, OKRS (Objectives and Key Results), and managing the on-going execution and success of the business. In this role, you will:
Own, define, and drive the Me2Me Job-to-be-done strategy and roadmap
Manage engagement with key internal stakeholders across the organization including Technology, Digital, Operations Independent Risk Management, and Legal
Analyze customer and results-oriented information to identify root cause/opportunity, develop solutions based on data, and measure results after implementation
Create a culture of orientation the customer and data
Partner closely with Deposits, Digital, and Fraud teams to balance customer experience, business growth, and fraud risk management objectives
Responsible for a Risk Assessable Unit (RAU) as part of companywide Risk and Control Self-Assessment Program
Own the end-to-end risk management across the Me2Me Job-to-be-done including managing financial, regulatory, reputational, and customer risks
Ensure compliance with applicable internal policies and regulations
Manage and develop specialized teams of professional individual contributors
Manage companywide efforts to align and coordinate distribution channels, systems requirements, product introduction, marketing, training, and ongoing product and service management
Collaborate with and influence stakeholders at various level across the organization from junior individuals to operating committee members and their directs
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the Me2Me function
Identify, attract, and grow talent to meet individual and organizational objectives
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Background and experience with digital Account Funding, Transfers (e.g. ACH, Instant, Me2Me), Mobile Deposit
Strong understanding of compliance requirements related to payment products
Experience with understanding fraud trends and developing strategies to mitigate loss and customer impact
Expert verbal, written and presentation skills; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
Experience managing team of Agile Product Owners and overseeing scrum team development of a product
Strong Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively communicate, create and deliver dynamic presentations to all levels of the organization
Strong understanding of emerging payments trends and payment rails
Experience managing a product P&L
Proven effective manager and leader, capable of attracting, mentoring, retaining, and promoting talented and productive staff
