A leading US retailer seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Designer to join the team in Bentonville, AR. In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping the vision for exceptional customer experiences while fostering a collaborative environment for cross-functional teams. MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design strategy for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Champion inclusive and user-centered design through all phases of the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with design research to leverage user insights and inform design decisions.
- Facilitate design thinking workshops and effectively guide cross-functional teams through the design process.
- Craft compelling narratives and present design solutions with clarity and confidence to stakeholders at all levels.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define a shared roadmap that balances business and technical considerations.
- Design high-fidelity experiences that are both beautiful and accessible to a broad range of users.
- Collaborate with the design system team to create and maintain scalable design components.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with design trends across industries.

Qualifications
- Willing to relocate to Bentonville, AR and work onsite 5 days/week.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture, Digital Design, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in product design leadership roles.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing elegant and user-centric design solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on empathy and inclusivity.
