Our client, a global financial services firm, is seeking a PowerPoint Presentation Designer role in NYC. This is an on-going, long-term assignment with non-standard working hours.
Before applying, please note:
- The working hours for this role are 6pm to 3am, onsite Monday - Friday. The client will reimburse travel expenses up to $75/day for Uber/car services when commuting between 10pm and 5am. Remote work is not an option for this client.
- All approved applicants will be given a PowerPoint test that will be distributed on Friday, January 24th and must be returned by the morning of Monday, January 27th. Candidates who perform well on the test will be likely be given an interview. This test will take no more than 3 hours in length to complete.
- There will be 4-6 weeks of paid training that usually takes place M-F from 10am - 7pm. Then the role will shift to the working hours of 6pm to 3am.

Candidates for this role MUST be willing to work onsite Monday-Friday from 6pm to 3am (there's a possibility of starting after 6pm if you'd prefer). They will not provide any software for you to take the test with, however, they will provide equipment to the candidates they select for the role. They are a PC environment.Presentation Designer Requirements
- Able to work onsite - it is nonnegotiable.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must
- Expertise in using Keynote and PowerPoint to ensure consistency in the look, feel, and voice of internal and external presentations
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Soft skills: reliable, punctual, focused, professional, comfortable receiving and seeking out feedback, comfortable communicating directly with the bankers
Presentation Designer Requirements
- Create, produce, edit, and annotate graphic designs, multimedia files and documents in accordance with specifications, using a variety of high-end graphics applications
- Receive feedback and apply this to continuous improvements in quality output, develop capabilities for innovation and service excellence
- Work directly with investment bankers in a fast paced and quick turnaround environment
- Work on complex slide enhancements and be able to tell a story with the flat work provided
- There is also graphic design work in Illustrator and Photoshop but the majority is in PowerPoint
- All Adobe elements created will be put into the presentation slides or Word doc. before the final deliverable is sent to the (internal) client, the bankers
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
