Description:

This position can be based out of any of Marshall & Sterling's New York offices or Davie, FL location.


Provide upmost service to clients by fulfilling major responsibilities as listed below. Serve as a point of contact for our client's insurance needs, servicing, and assisting in building client relationships by education clients through service requests, account rounding, and cross selling opportunities while referring new business opportunities to personal lines and other divisions.

  • Excellent service to our clients by promptly responding to their inquiries and addressing their individual needs for the products and services our agency provides.
  • Assist Account Managers and Producers in securing applications from clients.
  • Manage all account transactions (included but not limited to) endorsements, binders, cancellations, ID Cards, and correspondence. Review policies for accuracy and completeness and update system in accordance with workflow procedures.
  • Process transactions paying attention to detail in a timely manner
  • Timely follow up on company and client suspense/Task diaries
  • Treat every service contact as an opportunity for account round, cross sell, or referral opportunity.
  • Keep abreast of changes within the insurance industry as well as maintain a file on pertinent information from companies.
  • Communicate with Account Manager and Supervisor regularly. Communicate any issues immediately.
  • Document in system all conversations with clients and carriers pertaining to coverages and exposures.
  • Adhere to workflow procedures and follow guidelines to reduce the risk of E & O Claims.
  • Process Claims as applicable
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in insurance lines of coverage, fundamental rating, underwriting and procedural skills.
  • Experience with AMS360 & Image Right a plus
  • Proven ability to exceed expectations.
  • Brokers License in resident state
  • High level of organizational ability with attention to detail
  • Motivated and team player

Salary Range is $47,500 - $52,500.

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
