Job overview:

Schneider is seeking an Operations Representative in Savannah to act as a liaison between carriers, operations and customer service. The Operations Representative will execute daily operational processes that ensure high-quality service is delivered and the needs of customers are met.

Responsibilities:

Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with carriers.
Match available capacity to customer delivery needs.
Use planning processes and decision-making tools to develop optimal plans.
Monitor equipment usage.
Resolve problems related to freight imbalances, changes in operations and overall market disruptions.

Skills and qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.
2-4 years of relevant work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft systems.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Outstanding project management skills.
