Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking a Print Services Manager with proven vendor management and client facing experience to join their team! 

This 6 month, onsite role is 40 hours per week. You will work EST hours with flexibility to support west coast clients when needed. 

The Print Services Manager collaborates closely with the creative manager to develop strategies and exceptional service delivery, including quality control, managing workflow, outsourcing to print vendors, and assigning tasks based on skill sets, availability, and capacity. This role manages daily operations, provides performance and productivity feedback to the creative manager, and conducts daily status meetings with team members to discuss assignments, job status, quality, equipment and technology issues. The Manager collaborates across the Creative Services ecosystem, identifies gaps, leads initiatives for process improvements, and is responsible for quality assurance and consistency of output across Print Services. 

Responsibilities: 
- Supervise daily workflow for the print services team, monitoring Workfront tool, assessing, planning, and assigning print requests to print specialists in NY, LA and to external print vendors 
- Oversee daily work of print services personnel and provide performance feedback to the manager 
- Evaluate workload capacity, outsource print work and effectively manage print vendor relationships 
- Print large complex projects and small rush jobs, manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment 
- Provide status updates to creative manager on staffing, work volume, overtime, supplies, equipment issues and repair costs and serve as point person for service delivery issues 
- Monitor quality control process and quality check lists are completed on every project before client delivery to ensure timely, quality deliverables 
- Serve as point person working with clients to resolve service delivery issues and conduct debrief session 
- Apply superior knowledge of print equipment and methods to produce complex deliverables and provide recommendations and solutions 
- Trouble shoot print equipment, place service calls, obtain cost estimates/invoices, and follow through to resolution 
- Research and offer recommendations for new and replacement equipment and services 
- Purchase supplies, track and pay vendor invoices based on vendor processes and maintain updated supply inventory spreadsheet for all print locations 
- Mentor and train new print employees on policies and procedures, providing leadership through example 
- Manage all phases of project management, including customer service, effective communication, production, documentation, and delivery 
- Build team unity through collaboration, coaching, mentoring, and effective communication, illustrating how team members contribute to success 
- Mentor creative team members on print best practices, industry trends and implement learning programs to continuously enhance team skills 

Requirements: 
- High School diploma and associates degree or equivalent work experience 
- 6+ years of related print experience, handling high-profile, complex print projects, leading teams, troubleshooting print devices, and managing vendor relationships 
- 2+ years of supervisory experience is beneficial 
- Superior knowledge of reprographic equipment and methods 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign, other relevant tools 
- Effective communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork and project management skills 
- Strong leadership skills, conflict resolution, negotiation, influencing and persuasion abilities 
- Ability to effectively manage and counsel people and lead a team in-person and virtually 
- Experience in making recommendations on new or replacement equipment 
- Knowledge of creative industry practices, digital and print trends, innovation, and technology, including working with creative designers 
- Ability to think strategically to make good business judgements and decisions and escalate issues to the creative manager as appropriate
