Location: Little Rock, AR
Duration: 2-week project
Compensation: $16-18/hr based on experience (overtime available)
Hours: Daily hours will vary, but migration tech will be scheduled shift between the hours of 8 AM and 8 PM. Open availability required
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Migration Support Technician to assist with a 2-week migration project. The successful candidate will provide onsite migration support, move workstations, and follow the migration manual. This role requires staying onsite to support employees, taking inventory of equipment, and assisting end users with the setup of their desktop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide migration support for a 2-week project.
- Move workstations and follow the migration manual.
- Stay onsite to assist employees who may need support.
- Arrive onsite at the appointed time and check in with the onsite POC.
- Locate equipment and determine the work area as directed by the POC.
- Take inventory of new and old equipment, capturing serial numbers.
- Assist end users with login and setup of their desktop environment, including:
- Outlook signatures
- OneDrive sync
- Browser favorites
- M365 application functionality
- Application verification
- Verify print options (network and/or local).
- Follow directions from the onsite lead.
- Escalate any issues immediately to the site lead.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
- Must adhere to the designated work hours and report time accurately.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good communication and reading skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Technical aptitude/familiarity (no prior experience needed).
