Position Overview:

As the Product Lead for HCE Digital Services - Building Automation, you will be responsible for leading the successful introduction of new products into the market. You will oversee the entire NPI process from concept development through to commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities.

Location: Atlanta

Travel/Territory: 20% domestic and global

Ideal Candidate Experience:

  • 5+ years in product management, project management, or related roles, with a focus on new product introduction.
  • Strong technical background with experience in product development processes, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and product lifecycle management (PLM) methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

NPI Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive the HCE Digital Services - Building Automation strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities for the design, development and monetization of AI-powered solutions tailored for aftermarket services in industrial world. Define the vision, goals, and priorities for initiatives and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive Digital Services initiatives forward. Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption. Ensure commercialization of digital services by developing enterprise selling capabilities and demand shaping for driving organic growth of digital services within the install base

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for product expansion or innovation through the Digital Services initiatives.

Product Roadmap Development: Development of product roadmaps for HCE Connectivity & Digital Services vision and roadmap initiatives, outlining key milestones, features, and enhancements to be delivered over time. Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers. Serve as the primary point of contact for HCE Building Automation Digital Services-related matters and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged to integrate our massive install base with connectivity and data to build Services and SaaS products on Forge

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for the Digital Services initiatives, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.

Innovation and Future Planning: Drive innovation within the Digital Services process by identifying new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Work closely with R&D and innovation teams to develop and test new product concepts.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in years of experience in NPI product management or related roles
  • 3 years with a focus on NPI initiatives.
  • Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration
  • Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps.
