Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer Sr. to support the Meridian program, focusing on the integration and test of the Ground Segment for a satellite communications system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Systems Engineering, with a focus on systems integration and test, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the integration and test of system components, ensuring seamless communication and functionality between components
* Develop and execute integration and test plans, including system-level testing and validation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers, to ensure system requirements are met and design intent is maintained
* Conduct system-level analysis and simulation to validate system performance and behavior
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, interface control documents, and test reports
* Ensure that system design is aligned with program requirements and industry standards
* Participate in system-level testing, including dry-runs, rehearsals, and acceptance testing
* Identify and troubleshoot system integration and test issues, and develop corrective actions
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with system integration and test principles, including system-level testing, validation analysis and simulation
* Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering practices, implementation, and tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Cameo, or similar)
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related STEM degree (e.g., Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering or equivalent work experience
* Active or current SECRET security clearance; US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
* 5+ years of experience performing Systems Engineering activities in the aerospace industry, with a focus on ground segments or satellite communications systems
* Experience in agile development process, roles, and rhythms (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
* Experience as part of a larger Ground Segment focused technical team, with knowledge of ground segment operations and maintenance
* Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
* Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies, such as:
* Modeling languages (e.g., SysML, UML)
* Simulation and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink)
* Collaboration and version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN)
* Experience with test and validation methodologies, including test planning, execution, and reporting
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, including risk management and mitigation
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
