Position Overview: As the Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and publishing a site merchandising calendar while workingto gain alignment with category and marketing managers across all categories. Upon merchandising calendar has been approved, you will be responsible for scheduling and publishing content updates, inclusive of promotions, search results, and editorial content. You will be the go-to person for all site merchandising requests and implementation. Key Responsibilities:- Pre-Season Planning
- Develop a site merchandising calendar in partnership with category and marketing managers. Clearly document a component and content plan for review and leadership approval.
- Partner with product managers to identify opportunities for page optimization on a quarterly basis. Develop a testing plan and timeline to support hypothesis in partnership with product managers & UX teams.
- Take a data and trend driven approach to design curation. Support marketing initiatives in a cohesive way, supporting the customer journey from marketing channels to site execution. Develop seasonal merchandising collections as needed.
- In season Execution
- Set up sitewide promotions and discount codes, following direction from category managers and published promo details. Work across CT and Admin for promo functional setup. Work in contentful for corresponding content setup.
- Schedule site content updates, following site merchandising calendar. Partner with Product Managers and UX/UI to select the best components, and partner with marketing managers and creative team to identify and format imagery and copy. Seek feedback from stakeholders prior to publishing.
- Optimize search results for the customer journey and experience. Utilize product and design filters, along with AI and curated results based on customer need.
- Use data driven results to optimize specific page format and performance in partnership with key stakeholders in the product organization.
- Be willing and able to translate key learnings in season to actionable recommendations, implementing change to site merchandising calendar and drive results.
- Deliver monthly design performance reviews, inclusive of design performance and actionable insights to drive revenue growth.
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising
- Proficiency in content management systems and Microsoft suite (excel, power point, etc)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Bias towards action
- Detail-oriented is a must, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with ability to adapt to changes in the working environment.
