Position: Medical Receptionist / Medical Assistant

We are looking to add an experienced full-time or part-time Front Office Coordinator at a busy primary care practice in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, provide excellent patient experience and attention to detail, and work comfortably in a team environment, have an excellent attitude and be reliable. This job will provide excellent opportunity and experience for someone interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.

Education Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or graduation equivalency degree (GED).
• Knowledge of office procedures and medical terminology including but not limited to administrative processes and procedures, preparing patient charts, and basic computer skills.

Experience and Skills

Experience: For entry level, previous office administration or receptionist experience or a minimum of one year work experience in a medical office setting.

Skills: Telephone etiquette, customer service, basic word and excel programs, time management, team orientated, multi-tasking, organization and scheduling
