Medical Assistant - Surgical

MUST:
Experienced Medical Assistant - Surgical
2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
2+ years of experience working in a speciality practice
2+ years of experience working in a doctor's office setting
EMR experience
Good communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Nationally Certified as a Medical Assistant is preferred
DUTIES:
Performing patient interviews to collect health history and maintaining patient health records
Assisting with medical procedures and examinations, including skin biopsies, surgeries, laser treatments, etc. in a fast-paced environment
Medical scribing for our healthcare providers during medical examinations and procedures in electronic health records
Performing clinical tasks, such as performing wound checks, dressing changes, and suture removals
Surgical experience highly preferred
Other duties as assigned
