Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Media Planner to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective media strategies that align with our clients' marketing goals, utilizing various platforms and tools to optimize campaign performance and reach target audiences.
This is a 40 hours per week and fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement media plans across various channels including paid social, programmatic, and traditional media.
- Conduct research on target audiences and market trends to inform media buying strategies.
- Manage and optimize campaigns on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Utilize programmatic platforms like DV360, The Trade Desk, and Appnexus for display and video advertising campaigns.
- Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and attribution partners to measure effectiveness and ROI.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure messaging is aligned across all platforms and meets brand strategy guidelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners to negotiate rates and placements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in media planning and buying.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in media planning and buying, preferably in an agency setting.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, paid search, and display advertising.
- Familiarity with analytics and measurement systems such as HubSpot, MOAT, IAS, Double Verify, and Nielsen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for campaign optimization.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Demonstrated work ethic and professionalism in client interactions and project management.
