Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Matrix Mixing Operator to join our 1st shift production team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Production Supervisor.
Schedule:
1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 4:30am - 2:30pm | You will need to be available for possible weekend work
Starting Pay:
$22.19/hour | Your wage will increase over time!
You will ensure SQF (Safe Quality Food); food safety and quality by ensuring the process is meeting all standards. You will keep the area in a clean and sanitary condition; assist other employees with all changeovers, and perform minor maintenance on equipment. You will keep work area clean and safe, keep line running at peak efficiency, assist and understand weight control.
You can perform all of the following job responsibilities as required:
Understand and follow all GMP's for producing quality product
Follow and understand production schedule
Follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules
Assist operators with minor change-over aspects
Perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
Level 2 must perform all above and below duties.
Must be able to assemble and operate high speed equipment, including but not limited to Kitter, Mixer, Freezer, Bagger machine
Must be able to assist the Operators in all duties such as clearing jams, stacking off, climbing, machine faults, loading of materials, checking code dates, etc.
Responsible for recording of specific information in CDC
Responsible for adhering to Quality Assurance standards and WinSPC - computerized weight control
Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments of each machine center line
Responsible for staging changeover parts prior to changeover and returning changeover parts to changeover parts cart
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Ability to complete basic match computation
Understanding of weights and measurements
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED - required
