Are you someone who has a passion for contributing to organizational success through efficiency and attention to detail? If so, we invite you to embark on a journey with us.
Jered, a world leader in designing and developing cutting-edge innovations and is a trusted partner providing critical support to our customers. We are on the lookout for dynamic, dedicated individuals to join our team and contribute to our success.
A Material Handler I is an essential linkage in the material management process by ensuring we have the necessary materials to fabricate and assemble our one-of-a-kind solutions. Following a proven, meticulous process, a Material Handler I thoroughly maintains responsibility of material movement throughout the two sites at Jered.
Success Criteria
Working primarily between the shop floor and warehouse, the Material Handler I is responsible for the efficient flow and effective utilization of raw materials and components. Material movement includes the use of carts, forklifts, cranes, box truck and flatbed truck and trailer. The Material Handler I is responsible for accurately location scanning each part and/or workorder accordingly with each move, following work instructions based on assigned function, and working in a safe and timely manner to fulfill master schedule requirements.
Production cannot happen without the Material Handler I accurately and efficiently supplying the manufacturing teams with ready to use materials, parts, and assemblies by picking kits for production and safely moving finished projects to storage until it’s time to ship to our customers.
