Company Overview: Specialist Management Solutions is a division of SCA Health which is part of Optum. Specialist Management Solutions (SMS) provides a benefit solution that helps large, self-insured employers and health plans manage and drive down outpatient surgical spend, empowering employees/members with knowledge and education regarding the cost benefits of high-quality ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs). Through an optimized member experience with a concierge navigation approach, SMS focuses to guide members on appropriate care decisions (surgical or non-surgical) and sets them on a path for the right treatment and improved health outcomes. Responsibilities
The Marketing Operations Manager will be integral to SMS' continued success and vision to empower healthcare decisions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take your digital marketing, technical and strategy skills to the next level.
You will gain invaluable experience across consumer, healthcare, and corporate marketing and branding through partnership with the SMS Marketing and SCA Health Enterprise Marketing teams.
This role will leverage your experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to design and execute email campaigns. You will collaborate with other partners including Client Management, Information Technology, our Contact Center, Data, Operations, Business Development and Strategy along with SMS leadership to be responsible for the digital strategy including designing member journeys, building audiences and overseeing all campaign deployments.
Roles and Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the following:
- Partner with Marketing Strategy leads to design, streamline and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) journeys, including building and filtering audiences, optimizing campaigns including automation and other opportunities identified.
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical or process issues as they arise
- Monitors and analyzes marketing campaign performance, offering actionable insights for optimization
- Build email templates, landing pages or other internal platforms within SFMC
- Support other digital marketing initiatives outside SFMC including website updates and enhancements.
Necessary skills and abilities:
- Experience creating dynamic and personalized marketing campaigns building automations for marketing, analysis, and system maintenance using SQL knowledge, maintaining and optimizing SFMC for peak performance and data integrity
- Stays abreast of industry best practices and emerging SFMC trends, understands current digital marketing capabilities in the marketplace and is able to connect our digital marketing capabilities to marketing possibilities across targeting, creative, and experience
- Ability to combine analytics and qualitative data to form a journey orchestration strategy and approach and break a strategy down into an actionable plan that accelerates momentum and speed to market
- Keen eye for details and work accuracy
- Is a highly effective communicator and skilled relationship-builder who can influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking
- Highly organized, and detail oriented with strong time management skills, leading with a customer-oriented service approach working across internal collaborators

Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience planning, building, and analyzing marketing campaigns leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- At least 2 years of experience leveraging SQL queries to build target audiences
- HTML and CSS experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience with project management software, marketing automation and CRM software desired (ASANA, Wrike, Basecamp, Salesforce, Salescloud, Dynamo, Pardot, Campaign Monitor, WordPress, etc.)
- Knowledge of general website analytics and measurement tools (Google Analytics a plus)
