Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Junior Level Manufacturing Engineer. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production.

This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with shop floor personnel, design engineering, quality engineering, industrial engineering, and other engineering disciplines to support production of our various platforms.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree

* Experience or Knowledge with 'hands-on' applications of engineering and manufacturing principles

* Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
* Previous manufacturing/operations experience
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering related field
* Member of the SME, SAE, ASME, or other similar technical organization
* Design, build club/project experience (i.e., SAE Formula and Baja)
* Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
