The Transformation Manager is responsible for managing the Transformation teams across the different Mosaic North American Phosphate sites. This position will provide technical insights and business knowledge to: (1) Ensure timely implementation of Transformation initiatives with full value capture. (2) Identify technical and/or operational alternatives to increase productivity/reliability. (3) Provide agility in the issues Transformation teams may have synergies and transformation initiatives related. (4) Lead teams in the successful delivery of high priority transformation goals key to the business. This position will challenge operations constructively to help identify additional opportunities to improve the business.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee the development, execution and sustainment of the Transformation Program execution according to schedule and budget. Ensure timely implementation of Transformation initiatives with full value capture; Help local teams identify technical and/or operational alternatives to increase productivity/reliability; To provide agility in the issues that the transformation teams may have synergies and transformation initiatives related; Lead teams to focus on key priorities and ensure the delivery of transformation goals. This position will challenge operations constructively and exercise influential leadership to help identify additional opportunities to improve the business.
Manage senior stakeholder relationships including progress updates, decision making & escalations. Help Operations and Transformation teams identify technical alternatives to ensure the Transformation targets are obtained or surpassed. Evaluate opportunities and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders to secure project support and buy-in across sites and functions.
Guide team workload and provide constructive and timely feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, role, business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues as needed. Develop and guide employees to retain and promote the growth of the organization's talent.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, other technical related fields. MBA preferred.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma preferred
Minimum 10+ years relevant industrial experience; demonstrated leadership and management experience with an understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
5+ years’ experience creating and executing continuous improvement and change management activities that drive organizational results and change.
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to use fact-based and well-thought-out arguments to challenge all levels or change behavior/techniques as required
Must be able to influence across the organization to drive accountability and follow up for results
Able to drive consensus among leadership to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities
Must understand advanced problem-solving techniques, processes in plant, and essentials behind metrics and KPI’s
Ability to influence across the organization and with their team. range of employees
Understand the business objectives and make connections between the various initiatives to drive value.

Formal training in Change Management and Continuous Improvement (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Workout, SCRUM) is an asset.
