ADUSA Procurement is a partner company to Ahold Delhaize USA, providing supply chain services that support the delivery of products from a supplier to the warehouse. Primary Purpose
Responsible for collaborating with the Brand leadership teams across the Ahold Delhaize network. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence and compliance to SC strategies within Category, Merchandising & Planning for Fresh Categories. Providing training and education support on SC process management to Fresh Foods teams as it relates to procurement and replenishment of DC and retail locations.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential job functions:
- Ensure compliance and adherence to established standard processes for procurement and replenishment of Fresh Categories is always in place:
- Effectively support Fresh Category teams with Demand Management education and process management training, i.e., Forecasting and Replenishment. Provide specific guidance for the following:
- Own process of fresh demand management
- Achieving targeted freshness and retail on shelf availability
- Provide training on existing tools to maximize the Banner's competitive edge in the market.
- Facilitating inventory effectiveness conversations, for DC warehouse and Fresh Retail, across multiple areas including Category, Retail Operations, Shelf Merchandising, Banner Merchandising, and Supply Chain Operations.
- Advocate for balance sheet awareness with respect to inventory management processes.
- Encourage collaboration with Banner counterparts to ensure that Fresh Categories are leveraging buying power to maximize cost savings.
- Address concerns regarding non-compliance immediately with category and merchandising staff as well as appropriate SC staff.
- Responsible for the development and evolution of process to achieve budgeted total Fresh DC inventory goals.
- Identify the need for new systems or improvements to existing fresh replenishment systems including testing, advocacy, RFI's, continuous improvement, Business Requirements Document creation, etc.
- Serving as the fresh demand management expert internally and externally on fresh demand
- management principles.
- Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture.
- Create new methods and procedures based on industry best practices, trends and best in class external benchmarking.
- Act as a supply chain leader to identify opportunities that drive out cost and improve service within the network.
- Lead and/or serve as a member of key teams and committees as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years combined experience in supply chain, logistics, retail, merchandising, category, pricing, procurement, or distribution.
- Strong financial planning and budgeting experience
- Cross-functional leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated management expertise.
- Demonstrated relationship management experience with vendors, brokers, and third-party consultants.
- Preferred Experience with organizational change management
- Requires travel - typically 8 - 12%.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- APICS, IBF, or MIT certification preferable
- Proficiency in working within a cloud-based system.
- In depth knowledge of industry forecasting processes and method
