Grow your career as a Manager, Customer Analysis with ALG Vacations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Customer Analysis to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and usability of our customer data, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.  We are looking for someone who can take data and turn it into actionable insights.  This role will also involve integrating various tools with our Customer Data Platform (CDP).  ALG Vacations is a leader in the travel space with our customer-centric focus for both marketing and merchandising.

A successful Manager, Customer Analysis will:

• Data Quality Assurance:  
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and validation processes within the CDP. 
• Implement procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency 
• SQL Expertise:  
• Write complex SQL queries to explore data insights within the CDP.  
• Integration Expertise:  
• Understand system requirements for integrating data within the CDP and across different systems. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow. 
• Use Case Metrics Analysis:  
• Own the responsibility for analyzing use case metrics within the CDP. 
• Provide insights and trends to support data-driven decision-making.  
• Data Pipeline Development:  
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines for data load within the CDP.  
• Data Governance:  
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, including data privacy regulations. 
• Establish data lineage and cataloging processes within the CDP. 
• Collaboration:  
• Work closely with data analysts, lifecycle managers, CDP business owners, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.  
• Documentation:  
• Maintain clear documentation of data processes, SQL scripts, and data lineage within the CDP.  
• Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or another analytical field. 
• 3+ years of experience in customer data/analysis 
• Strong knowledge of CDP tools and technologies. 
• Knowledge of SQL required 
• Knowledge of or desire to learn Python is preferred required 
• Proficiency in data analytics. 
• Excellent project management and communication skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. 
• Strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
