Job Summary
The Manager 1, Finance will play a key role in driving financial and operational excellence by providing insightful analysis and strategic support to senior leadership. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in managing the comprehensive forecast and budget and aligning financial strategies with business objectives. Your responsibilities extend beyond the numbers, as you actively contribute to executive reporting and presentations, including financial reporting, benchmarking, and leadership readout materials. Core Responsibilities
- Prepares, maintains, and streamlines diverse reporting packages, ensuring the availability of relevant materials critical for informed decision-making.
- Participates in the building of executive presentation materials
- Manages data to maintain benchmarking, key metrics, and other statistics for the leadership team.
- Ensures the accuracy of the overall forecast and budget by identifying outliers and working collaboratively with business partners to resolve.
- Communicates with the broader finance organization to ensure alignment on initiatives, business updates and supports key projects that contribute to organizational success.
- Provides budget, forecast and variance analysis and related reports as needed.
- Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends.
- Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.
- Builds and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly and annual reports.
- Leads, trains, and develops a high-performing Finance team. Oversees day-to-day operations, monitors performance, and provides guidance to optimize team efficiency and professional growth.
- Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as the need arises.
- Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Qualifications
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting processes, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams, fostering development, and improving performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
