Our client in the non-profit industry is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join their team in NYC! Our client is a dynamic not-for-profit organization committed to creating safe spaces for children and families in the New York City metropolitan area. Our neighborhood initiatives and youth programming aim to foster economic and personal growth, making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. This position will be on site in the New York located and will provide a comprehensive benefits package, including vision, medical, and dental coverage.

Salary: $60-70K

Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions in Early Learning Centers, Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, and High Schools.
Write progress notes and annual progress reports, ensuring accountability and documentation.
Collaborate with parents and teachers to create behavioral plans that support continuity and skill development.
Attend clinical student review sessions and annual conference calls to report progress to stakeholders.
Submit monthly student session confirmations to maintain accurate records.

Required Qualifications:

New York State Clinical License in Mental Health (LMHC) or Clinical License in Social Work (LCSW).
NYCDOE fingerprinting and background check (Agency assistance provided).
Personal computer with video conferencing capabilities and a private area for virtual sessions.
Malpractice Insurance.
Excellent verbal and writing skills.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Bengali, Hindi/Urdu, Chinese, Mandarin, Russian, and English is a plus.
