• Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards.
• Assist with the investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings , manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders.
• Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance.
• Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to plant employees
• Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of EHS professionals.
• Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OSHA.
• Maintain relationships with the community, EHS groups, or other stakeholders impacted by the EHS performance of the organization.
• Coordinate compliance audits, inspections, including insurance inspections.
• Ensure all new equipment meets all legal and YF requirements.
• Help set the standard and cultivate the EHS culture in the plant.

Required Education Level

Bachelor's Degree

*Equivalent work experience may also be considered.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 minimum years of experience
• Automotive Experience preferred
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Experience in regulatory compliance in OSHA, worker’s compensation, manufacturing health and safety training, environmental and ergonomics.
• ISO 14001, OSHA 18001, ISO 45001 requirements including internal and external customers such as OE and NGO requirements; training and record keeping requirements, ISO documentation requirements and formats.
