As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and support. Your expertise and leadership will drive the success of our field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you will work out of our Birmingham, AL location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the success of our field service operations by leading a team of technicians, providing technical guidance and support, and ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and support

* Oversee field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery

* Assign and schedule field service technicians to meet customer demands and service level agreements

* Provide technical expertise and support for complex technical issues, both remotely and on-site

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs

* Conduct training sessions for field service technicians and customers

* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.
  • Familiar with Niagara, BacNet, or Honeywell EBI
  • 5 years plus Experience working with HVAC systems
  • 5 years experience plus with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Over 2 years of experience Installing and Programing BAS equipment

  • Previous industry experience
  • Understanding of BAS (Fire Systems)
  • Previous technical/installation experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
  • Bachelor degree or technical/professional certificate
  • Good presentation skills
