Responsibilities
W. Eric Fasking & Associates, staff counsel for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, is hiring a Summer Law Intern who will have exposure to litigation and trial practice. The internship strives to provide a balanced and realistic representation of the function of Claims Litigation Counsel, as well as real world exposure to a multitude of legal services being provided. The selected individual will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with attorneys on assigned projects, observe every phase of litigation, and will have a designated mentor throughout the internship. The internship period is 10-weeks, and the selected candidate will receive a $2000 internship stipend.
Located in Jacksonville, FL, we enjoy an active, busy civil trial practice. We provide a congenial, team-oriented, professional work environment with skilled support staff.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
• Current enrollment in an ABA accredited Law School program and remain enrolled for the duration of the internship
• 2L/rising 3L students in the top half of their class
• Strong research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
