Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for an IT Manager in Suwanee, GA.
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Manager oversees the IT Helpdesk Team and manages operations of servers, end-user computer systems, mobile devices, and network services while maintaining SLA standards. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, mentorship, and collaboration skills to deliver high-quality customer service to end-users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
IT Infrastructure and Operations
- Manage IT team members who provide support to local and remote users for software and hardware issues pertaining to desktop and network computer systems, administer, and maintain phone and voicemail system.
- Monitor IT cases ensuring quality resolution of all incidents and/or appropriate escalation while meeting SLA metric expectations and KPI's.
- Manage both METUS teams and 3rd party partners in the maintenance, support, development and deployment of Hardware, Software, Network, Phone/voicemail, and Security solutions along with patching and replacement.
- Research and provide feedback on new software and hardware as applicable to the METUS business.
- Align with the METUS key business objectives, making sure opportunities to add value are properly prioritized
- Perform other duties as assigned
Network and System Administration
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure and servers.
- Ensure network security and system integrity through firewalls, backups, and antivirus software.
Project Management
- Ensure timely delivery of network, hardware, software solutions, including budget adherence and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure awareness of issues requiring system maintenance and down time are communicated to company staff as affected.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
System Performance Monitoring
- Monitor the performance of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Take proactive steps to improve system efficiency, uptime, and reliability.
User Training and Documentation
- Provide training to employees on new software, tools, and systems.
- Ensure clear comprehensive documentation for all IT processes, systems, and procedures at all times.
People Leadership
- Mentor, coach and develop the IT team members to ensure they are highly utilized and growing in their career objectives
- Create a positive working environment and address staffing or performance issues.
- Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree with 3 years experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent time in related work experience preferred
- 5 years' work experience administering and troubleshooting hardware in an Enterprise IT environment with 3+ years in management role directing the activities of an IT team with 4+ resources.
- Proficient in IT operation processes, capable of implementing or enhancing IT team procedures for system maintenance and user support and maintaining current comprehensive documentation.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft operating systems for both network and desktop PC hardware, along with proficiency in Microsoft server management.
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft's Active Directory and M365, Entra, Intune, and Sharepoint.
- Experience with Soti Mobi Control and Zebra Scanner/Printer deployment and management.
- Experience in managing Linux environment and AWS cloud resources is a plus.
- Experience in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise hardware systems, both on-premises and in cloud environments, with expertise in hardware integration and performance optimization.
- Diverse network administrative skills; i.e., both set-up and maintenance of hardware, software, VPN's etc.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements and compliance and security standards.
- Experience with continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Ability to make decisions according to rules, regulations and procedures of the Corporation.
- Discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information.
The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $104,000 and $143,000 per year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
