9th Way Insignia has an opening for an Integration Engineer Expert to work in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Professional Level
The Integration Engineer Expert position aligns as Level 3 Engineer at 9th Way Insignia. An Engineer 3 typically plans and directs research or development work on complex projects, along with engaging various parties in design and development. Costs and recommendations of new components may also involve part of the job scope. Performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm. An Engineer 3 oversees the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. An Engineer 3 has broad knowledge of engineering procedures and assists in the resolution of complex problems. An Engineer 3 has strong technical skills and background, a knack for learning new technologies, and a blend of good problem-solving and innovation needed to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges.
Functional Job (LCAT) Information
An Integration Engineer Expert must create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained. Coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed. The expert integration engineer must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks. The expert integration engineer must be cost conscience as well addressing goals.
Responsibilities:

Create technical requirements and process flows for development, infrastructure, and support teams.

Implement integration plans.

Investigate and determine appropriate integration solutions.

Maintain a catalog of integration solutions.

Assist with integration designs and implementations, working with consultants.

Oversee all Integration Services engineering processes.

Define integration reference architecture for solutions landscape.

Provide patterns and guidance to feature teams for effective use of integration technologies.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent

10+ years of proven experience. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Cross-platform Systems Administration.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Salary Range
The salary range for this $96,370.33 - $141,000.00
