Human Resources Leadership Development Rotational Program 2025

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is a two-year rotational program designed to prepare and develop the next generation of leaders within the human resources function. HRLDP Associates will develop leadership and technical skills through a variety of rotational experiences, formal & informal training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. Participants with spend 12 months in both rotations at one or more of our U.S.-based locations. This accelerated program will provide associates with rotational experiences through different facets of the human resources function, gaining exposure and valuable development experiences within a global organization. During the first rotation, HRLDP participations will complete a year as an HR Specialist at one of nVent’s manufacturing sites. Roles for the second could include any the following:

  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Talent Acquisition

  • Talent Management

  • Learning & Development

The second rotation is meant to continue to build skills and capabilities for eventual final placement in an HR Business Partner role at the conclusion of the rotation program.

As a part of nVent's Leadership Develop Program, you'll join a cohort of early career professionals across various functions. Kickstart your journey in June 2025 with a comprehensive week of onboarding and training, setting the stage for your first rotation.   • Training & Development: Receive ongoing training each year of the rotational program to hone functional competencies, gain business insights, and develop leadership capabilities.

Locations:

  • Geographic flexibility to relocate as necessary is required both during the program and upon completion of the HRLDP program
  • Rotation locations may include (but are not limited to) - Minneapolis, MN (St. Louis Park or Anoka) or Cleveland, OH

You Have:

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources development, human resource management or related degree
  • Graduating between December 2024 and June 2025 and available to begin full time employment in June 2025
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future
  • Geographic flexibility and open to relocation both during and upon completion of the program
  • Previous internship or work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Leadership experience and industry-related internship experience a plus
