Who you are

You understand development and finance. You are committed to honoring donor wishes. You approach each gift with a deep sense of responsibility, both to the donor and to the university to uphold legal and fiscal requirements. Co-workers describe you as a problem solver who's highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and a skillful writer and editor. Colleagues like working with you because you are approachable and highly collaborative, and because you follow through as promised. You enjoy being part of a team. If this describes you, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

As the Gift Fund Stewardship Manager, you will ensure that the college remains legally and fiscally compliant by honoring the donor intent of each gift and assisting in the timely spending and reporting on gift fund utilization. You will review gift agreements, research funds, analyze data and reports, interpret donor intent, draft communications between donors and the university, negotiate and recommend gift fund modification to maximize use of funds, write modified gift agreements and MOUs, develop and document comprehensive workflows, and maintain records in various systems. You will work closely with stakeholders in Advancement, Finance, the Dean's Office, Departments and Programs, and the Office of General Counsel to oversee the gift fund modification process and provide transparency to all. And, as a member of the stewardship team, you will assist with impact reports to show what donors make possible in the college.

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $73,000. Salary is determined by direct relevant experience while ensuring equity on our team.
