As a Field Service Technician II - HVAC Technician here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers in the Colonial Heights, VA area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of HVAC systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer service.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Colonial Heights, VA location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the comfort and safety of our customers by ensuring the proper functioning of HVAC systems and providing timely and effective solutions to technical issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
* Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with HVAC equipment
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician
* Strong technical knowledge and expertise in HVAC systems
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Customer-focused mindset
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
WE VALUE
* Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA 608, NATE)
* Experience with commercial HVAC systems
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
* Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements
