Our global retail client is looking to bring on a Stylist for their on set, Creative Studio.

What They’re looking for:

Our ideal Stylist has styled for both video and static; dressed live environments (in store, pop up), social and digital mediums (briefing creators); and is well versed in Editorial, Ecommerce and marketing. You will work directly with the Site merchandizing, Brand, and Creative teams to ensure the creative vision is brought to life through correct and tasteful styling.

The studio is responsible for capture and creation of 100,000 assets annually. Ideal candidate is looking for in-house styling work/has a background as an in-house stylist.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communication between Site merchandising, Brand team, and Creative teams to ensure that the creative vision of each brand is represented in the styling, fit, and look and feel.
  • Oversee the Styling on the apparel for our private brands, video and stills.
  • Lead a weekly review of styling of Product Photography from all sets with freelancers and full-time stylists.
  • Organize and manage all style outs (fittings) for private brand shoots.
  • Coordinate with sample team to ensure all samples are accounted for and ready to shoot
  • Coordinate with Brand team and Site Editorial on what propping to use with hero items.
  • Work with the photo coordinator on scheduling of all Hero items for the scheduled shoot days.
  • Help build a network and vet freelance stylists across categories
  • Work with the Senior manager to put repeatable processes in place that helps the team plan, manage multiple parallel projects, and run our business.
  • Ensure smooth operations, a friendly and calm workspace for our teams to be inspired; and a studio experience that leaves our clients and partners wanting more.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of styling for ecommerce, brand, editorial or combination of the three
  • Heavy fashion background
  • Ecommerce management experience
  • Editorial or Luxury Fashion Experience
  • Strong fashion trend point of views and an understanding of the market and market trends
  • BONUS: Commercial editorial (not looking for product styling)

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 – $50/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
