Faculty Development Coordinator

Southeastern Louisiana University's Center for Faculty Excellence invites applications for the position of Faculty Development Coordinator to assist faculty with creating meaningful and impactful learning experiences for their students. The Faculty Development Coordinator will also assist with course planning, development, and delivery. In addition to providing faculty support at the Center, the Faculty Development Coordinator will create faculty training courses and deliver professional development workshops and seminars.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Education or job-related field from an accredited university by hire date

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in higher education

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
Knowledge of accessibility standards
Excellent editing, writing and communication skills
Ability to be collaborative and work as part of a team
Knowledge of pedagogy, learning theories, and instructional design models
Superior time management skills
Knowledge of adult learning styles
Working knowledge of LMS
