We are seeking sophomore and junior students majoring in Environmental Health Safety, or Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role to be working in Coppell, TX for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
This role will identify Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) risks present at Lokelma Supply Site and create effective control strategies for them. Duties will include but not be limited to the below:
- SHE Procedure and Processes Simplification and Communications
- Support SHE and Medical Staff in an operations environment
- Develop and perform SHE inspection strategy plan
Position Requirements:
- Undergraduate sophomore and junior students majoring in Environmental Health Safety, or Occupational Health and Safety, environmental science, or a related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
- Familiarity with industry safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Computer Skills, Familiar with Regulatory Text, Project Teamwork is a plus
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
- US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
- This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
- Ability to report onsite to Coppell, TX 5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0
