$26.400 - $29.437 - $32.473The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
This position is responsible for representing and promoting Sharp Rees-Stealy physicians, programs and services at a variety of employer open enrollment, senior, and community health fair s and events throughout the year.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- Driver's License - CA Department of Motor Vehicles -REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- Public relations and customer service experience.
Essential Functions
- Represent Sharp Rees-Stealy physicians, programs and services at various employer, senior and community health fairs and other events
Promote the Sharp medical groups, programs and services to a variety of audiences including seniors, employers, employees, health plans, brokers, and the general public. Answer participant questions and refer questions and concerns appropriately. Brings back pertinent information to the division on the company and health plan options and our competitors. Brings back insights from the consumers about what we are doing well and any complaints heard at events. Forwards complaints to the supervisor for follow up. - Prepare and set up materials for events
Prepare and set up materials for events. Including arranging several boxes of brochures, promotional giveaways, display case and other necessary materials for transport to event. Courier service will typically transport materials, however on occasion employee may asked to perform this function as well - Assist with special projects including events, seminars and other marketing and clerical functions as needed
Assist with special projects including events, seminars and other marketing and clerical functions as needed. Potential projects include data entry, coordinating outgoing direct mail pieces, updating marketing contact lists, developing competitor profiles, collecting information from clients via phone calls and/ or customer surveys.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Position requires excellent customer service skills and public/in-person contact skills.
- Ability to represent Sharp Rees-Stealy/Sharp HealthCare in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Ability to learn and convey information regarding the Sharp system, medical groups, hospitals and services as well as basic information regarding contracted health plans.
- Responsible for setting up display and display materials at events. Position requires employee to operate independently with minimal direction from supervisor majority of the time.
- On occasion, employee may be responsible for transporting display materials to and from events (usually materials will be delivered by courier service).
- Bilingual (Spanish) language skills a plus.
