Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Customer Service Support Tier 1 for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities
Our Customer Service Support Tier I role is the first point of contact for resolving customer issues, providing account documents, and maintaining records of interactions and resolutions.
- Responsible for serving as the first point of contact in the Credit & Collections department for customer inquiries via phone and email
- Answers incoming phone calls, resolves issues for customers and provides invoice and statement copies to customers upon request
- Updates customer accounts with payment arrangements, contact information and relevant notes from interactions
- Escalates accounts requiring further action to the appropriate team members or management, providing all necessary documentation and context
- Collaborates with internal teams, including sales, finance and marketing to address and resolve customer issue efficiently
- Provides superior customer service
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service support role in a call center preferred
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Comfortable handling high call volume
- Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
- High School diploma or equivalent
Additional Information
This is a Monday-Friday role. The hours are 9:30am-6pm
This will be a hybrid role after initial training, hour hybrid schedule is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
