Full Job Description
Our client is the largest search engine giant, and they are currently seeking a Email Marketing Manager to join their team.
This role will be hybrid/onsite, three days a week.
The Marketing Manager role plays a crucial role in leading and executing our email channel operations, partnering with our marketing organization to effectively leverage this channel for marketing activations, and drive overall channel strategy including technical improvements, policy, and governance. They will support a large global campaign operation, leading our operations partners n activating hundreds of campaigns globally and determining the optimal operating model for client's marketing email operations.
Top Responsibilities for Email Marketing Manager:
-Develop and own a comprehensive email channel strategy and supporting project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables, including defining overall engagement model with the marketing organization.
-Design email governance policies, model, and enforcement mechanisms.
-Design, stand up, and run email decision-making and support forums, including executive forums where needed and more frequent support forums such as office hours.
-Build a dynamic infrastructure to maximize global and regional owned marketing resources with more agility and speed from local campaigns all the way up to global priorities.
-Monitor channel operations performance to ensure they meet or exceed expectations, including identifying solutions to improve operations performance.
-Collaborate with key marketing stakeholders to understand marketing strategy and gather requirements to manage and improve channel operations and roadmap.
-Collaborate with key XFN product and engineering stakeholders to share business requirements, influence roadmaps where we have dependencies, and partner on channel policy and governance.
-Identify potential strategy and/or operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
-Identify any issues or challenges that emerge and implement corrective actions.
-Manage expectations and address concerns proactively.
-Manage escalations.
Ideal Qualifications for Email Marketing Manager:
-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience.
-8 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. email campaign operations or email channel management).
-Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
