Full Job Description

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Duke University School of Medicine seeks a pediatric gastroenterologist with a strong interest in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease.

Eligible candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology.

The Duke Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition specializes in pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders. The division consists of 8 physicians, three outpatient nurse practitioners, three inpatient nurse practitioners, and four dietitians and provides state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and comprehensive therapeutic services for common and rare pediatric gastroenterology diseases. Duke has the most extensive pediatric liver transplant program in North Carolina and the surrounding region, a robust living donor program, and a growing intestinal/multivesicular transplant program. The division collaborates on patient care with the  Divisions of Pediatric Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Otolaryngology, and others through multidisciplinary clinical teams.
