Enterprise Architecture Portfolio Director
Brief Description of the Position

This role will be responsible for organizing and facilitating the EA Value Team's portfolio of work while also looking across the enterprise to identify and measure where our cross-organizational collaboration adds value to the enterprise.
For an individual to be successful in this role it is very important that they have experience working closely with enterprise architects in large organizations. The context of our work requires a deep understanding of more than one IT delivery methodology, along with full exposure to the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of two (2) Project Manager/Scrum Masters and one (1) Product Analyst from planning through delivery while coaching decomposition of strategic objectives into prioritized, actionable backlogs that represent 100% of EA activities. This includes annual, quarterly, and bi-weekly planning cycles with both top-down and bottoms-up analytics.
Build and maintain a master dashboard of all EA activities to illustrate multiple dimensions such as capability impacts, business value drivers, financial impacts, and resource demand management.
Coordinate and track resource demand across the EA department.
Track project and department financials that articulate cost to value using advanced analytical techniques, to represent cost information in formats that enable strategic planning.
Contribute to the annual budget planning process with reconciliation of EA Value Team cost center up to CTO departmental forecast and actuals.
Build cross-functional relationships and partner with other IT programs to implement incremental process improvements across all of IT, influencing the continuous improvement and adoption of Portfolio Management methodologies and tools.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, Computer Science, or related. Professional certification in PMP, Scaled Agile Framework, or similar.
10+ years of experience in portfolio, program or product management including experience in a leadership role, with a track record of delivering on promises.
An understanding of architecture roles, deliverables, and how to use architecture for decision making in a large organization.
Experience proactively identifying and solving complex problems with an understanding of business impacts. Ability to trade-off competing priorities and communicate alternatives to decision makers.
Experience with project budget planning and management, IT cost reporting and analysis with both traditional project time-scope-budget techniques and non-traditional tracking such as Activity-Based Costing, Value-Based Costing, Lifecycle Costing, etc.
Ability to mentor junior project managers and other team members through their journey of understanding how to prioritize and plan work with a value-based orientation that delivers outcomes on a regular cadence.
Experience leading change through influence, collaboration, and building consensus, while driving initiatives forward even in the absence of formal authority.
Experience using multiple delivery methodologies, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar agile techniques with industry leading tools such as Jira and Apptio.
Technology Business Management Framework (TBM) a plus.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$169,700.00 - $267,200.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
