Director CFO - Space Gold Business Enterprise (GBE)

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are found on virtually every commercial, defense and space aircraft. The Space GBE is among the leaders in the high-end segment, providing solutions for satellites and spacecraft. In fact, Honeywell has been part of every NASA crewed space mission for almost 60 years and is onboard 950 satellites and counting.

This position providesfinancialpartnering /leadershipto engineering teams focused on profitable growth and product innovation. You will play a key role in managingfinancialperformance and implementing keyfinancestrategies to achieve committed business performance. This includes partnering with Honeywell business leaders to influence strategic decisions and drive keyfinanceinitiativesresulting in long-term growth and enhanced profitability. The Space CFO reports to the Electronic Solutions (ES) Vice President, CFO.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive Short Range Outlook management operating system (MOS) with focus on clear actions to achieve forecast while managing risk
  • Analyze monthly results for executive consumption, spanning all revenue segments including OEM, engineering and EAC analysis
  • Partner with business to formulate plans to achieve annual operating plan (AOP) and long-term strategic priorities (STRAP)
  • Support development and execution of engineering milestones and key technology development
  • Partner with Defense & Space (D&S) customer business teams to achieve shared goals and business objectives
  • Embrace COO mindset to drive variable contribution margin andproductivity, via opportunity identification,analysis, reporting, and execution
  • Support strategicinitiatives, including Licensing, M&Adue diligenceand acquisition integration
  • Ad hocfinancialsupport for Space GBE VP/GMs

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 7-10 years' experience in progressiveFinanceroles
  • At least one role as a business/functional partner withfinancialresults (P&L)accountabilityand FP&A

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelor's degree inFinance, Accounting, or other associated business major; Master's degree or CPA/CMA preferred
  • Direct business interaction,independentproblem solving,negotiation
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills with Executive presence
  • Leadership- ability to lead and influence diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Financial Management tools (SAP,Essbase, HFM, AMR,Tableau)
  • Experience working within a large, multinational corporation
  • Highly proficient using technology to improve processes
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
  • Problem-solvingandanalyticalskills with the ability to takeownershipof projects producing highquality results
  • Challenges the status quo and proactively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Quickly adapts to changing circumstances
