Summary of Responsibilities:
As ATC grows, we’re looking for a Director Construction and Commissioning to provide leadership, direction and oversight to construction management, commissioning, and safety & human performance functions.Essential Responsibilities:
You’ll lead strategy development and oversight of the execution of the company’s capital construction program and the commissioning of new and modified electric facilities on the electric transmission system. You’ll also lead the implementation of the maintenance work management processes and schedules that align procedures of diverse equipment types within common equipment zones.
In addition, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the safe execution of the construction of projects in ATC’s capital projects portfolio (i.e., 10-year plan) which includes project direction and organization, forecasting, reporting, resource coordination, risk identification and management, strategy development, dispute resolution, and consistent process implementation for projects.
You’ll use your bachelor’s degree, 15 years’ experience in the utility industry and at least 10 years of people leadership to develop department strategy and oversee the safe execution of the company’s maintenance work plans, ensuring effective allocation of resources for both maintenance and vegetation management work plans.
