What You Will Get To Do:
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of development experience (Java, Go, Python, or other languages)
- A solid foundation in object-oriented and cloud-native design
- Experience in writing HTTP services in higher-level languages (e.g., Java/Spring, Go)
- Experience with relational and document databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience learning new open-source software, APIs, and frameworks
- Exposure to automated testing, modern CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Familiar with bash, Git, JIRA, and agile methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Partner with software and operations engineers to support a modern private cloud that can handle the requirements for a global company
- Design, build, and deploy services supporting our enterprise cloud platform
- Mentor other software engineers around patterns and practices for highly available systems
- Integrate with CI/CD, Kubernetes, VMs, backend services, and managed-service offerings
- Build and maintain observability dashboards to monitor the overall health of the ecosystem
- Build common components for reuse across the organization, maintaining documentation, demo applications, and reviewing pull requests
- Work closely with our support team and user community to promote best practices for cloud adoption

What You Will Bring:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of popular and open-source DevOps tools like Git, Ansible, Python, Docker, and databases.
