About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytic Consultant in Customer Remediation Verification (CRV) within Enterprise Complaints Remediation (ECR). The CRV team is looking for Analytic Consultants to conduct advanced data quality review and challenge for complex, high-risk, high-priority, non-model data analysis activities across Wells Fargo customer remediation efforts. This position includes supporting the development, implementation and execution of advanced analytic capabilities for the CRV team.

We are looking for candidates with proven ability to utilize data analysis methodologies and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the data analysis process. This includes partnering with internal team members to identify opportunities and deliver solutions to utilize data analysis in evaluation the accuracy and completeness of targeted customer populations, to provide data-driven risk assessments and look for opportunities to automate manual processes within the review lifecycle.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead data or line of business specific projects and work alongside other data analysis professionals
  • Be results-driven, detail oriented and demonstrate strategic thinking and creativity
  • Be capable of initiating action and managing change in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to take moderately complex areas and work with business partners to identify specific actionable analytic opportunities within those areas
  • Navigate within technology environments to locate, validate, extract and format data for data analysis testing
  • Train and mentor team members in the use of data analysis and data analysis tools
  • Develop data-driven analytic capabilities to identify anomalies, outliers, emerging trends and operational risks across the Enterprise
  • Build continuous reporting and/or automation solutions that support risk identification
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience using SQL within a variety of database sources such as SAS, Oracle, Teradata, etc.
  • 5+ years of work experience with SAS or 5+ years of SAS programming experience
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
  • 3+ years of analytics experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Experience with Unix Shell Scripting
  • Experience with process automation and enhancements
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
