Our client, a very well-known global fitness brand, is currently seeking a freelance Bilingual (Spanish and English) Copywriter to join their team.
Please note, this is hybrid NYC (onsite Tuesday/Wed/Thursday) 40hrs/week opportunity for about 4 months with some potential to extend based on performance and business need.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Bilingual, Copywriter with a strong focus on Performance Marketing to join our client's in-house brand creative team. In this role, you will lead and execute mid and lower funnel evergreen and promotional creative that drive performance across paid digital channels, including social media, OLV/OTT, search and display, among other media touchpoints. As part of this in-house creative team, you will lead messaging and verbal execution in English and Spanish within the new performance creative group and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Creative Writing: Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a variety of digital marketing assets, including paid digital channels, including social media, OLV/OTT, search and display, among other media touchpoints.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Create and adapt content in both English and Spanish to support global campaigns and reach diverse audiences effectively.
- Performance Focused: Partner with the performance marketing team to optimize copy for conversion rates, click-through rates (CTR), and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- A/B Testing: Collaborate with the team to deliver against creative briefs that ladder back to A/B test plans, digest creative performance presented by the Performance Creative Strategy team and become an expert in performance creative best practices.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all copy adheres to brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines while still appealing to specific target demographics.
- Collaboration: Under the Associate Creative Directors leadership, work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to develop creative concepts and bring ideas to life.
- Content Strategy: Contribute to the overall content strategy by providing insights into trends, audience behaviors, and the competitive landscape.
- Quality Assurance: Edit and proofread all copy to ensure its free from errors, aligns with objectives, and meets the highest standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in copywriting, with experience writing copy for performance marketing or digital advertising campaigns
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, and editing). Must be able to craft high-quality copy in both languages
- Deep understanding of performance marketing principles, including conversion optimization, A/B testing, and the role of creative in driving results.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Is forward-thinking, very organized, and has an obsession for detail
- Brings a strong passion for the fitness category, and lifestyle/consumer brands
- A strong portfolio showcasing copywriting skills, with examples of work across performance marketing campaigns.
- NYC based, hybrid model with Tue, Wed, Thur in HQ office
