Our Fortune 500 Financial Services client is seeking a Content Strategist for an 10-month opportunity! Candidates must be willing to work onsite M - Thursday in Austin, TX (can work from home on Fridays; 40 hrs/week total).
Position Overview
The Senior Content Strategist will be responsible for leading the development and execution of content strategies that align with user needs and business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate across teams to create compelling content experiences and drive engagement through effective storytelling and user-centered design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that enhance user experience and meet business goals.
- Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and stakeholders to ensure content aligns with user needs and project objectives.
- Conduct user research and data analysis to inform content decisions and optimize content performance.
- Create and maintain content governance frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all platforms.
- Lead content execution efforts, including writing, editing, and prototyping content for various digital channels.
- Utilize tools like Figma and FIGJAM for wireframing and visual design of content layouts.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
- Guide and mentor junior content strategists and writers, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in content strategy, UX content strategy, or related fields.
- Proven experience in conversation design and content execution.
- Strong understanding of user experience design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and user research methodologies.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a focus on persuasive communication.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder management, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles and accessibility standards.
- Skilled in using design tools such as Figma and FIGJAM for wireframing and prototyping.
