Duration: 12 Month (Potential to extend)
Location: Washington, DC-Hybrid 1day/Month

As a Communications Specialist, you will:

Support enterprise-wide communications projects primarily for business partner communications.
This role will inform and engage employees through storytelling and integrated communications efforts; support the development, delivery and measurement of employee communications projects to advance our mission of supporting renters and homeowners;
Work with Internal Communications teammates to engage with the corporate functional business partners such as Mission and Strategy, Human Resources, Community Impact, and Housing Equity Strategy and Impact to support their strategic objectives.

Skills Required:

Should be a proficient writer and familiar with platforms to manage mass email messages and newsletters, web/intranet, and digital signage.
Strong understanding of AP Style, experience with SharePoint and Adobe Marketing Cloud or similar applications preferred.
Experience in journalism or writing news, features, or marketing copy.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $40/hr - $45/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
